8. বাক্যে Both ----- and/as well as থাকলে Both উঠে not only বসে এবং and / as well as উঠে but also বসে।
উদাহরণঃ Aff: She is both active and smart.
Neg: She is not only active but also smart.

9. বাক্যে By + Ving ----- থাকলে By উঠে without বসে এবং helping verb এর পর not বসে।

Neg: Without working hard, they can't remove their condition.

10. বাক্যে As soon as + Sub + V2 ----- থাকলে, As soon as উঠে No sooner had + Sub + V3-- বসে এবং (,) কমা উঠে than বসে।
উদাহরণঃ Aff: As soon as I reached the station, the train left.
Neg: No sooner had I reached the station than the train left.

11. বাক্যে Too----- to + V1---থাকলে,too উঠে so বসে এবং to উঠে that + Sub + can't / couldn't+ V1--- বসে।
উদাহরণঃ Aff: He is too honest to accept a bribe.
Neg: He is so honest that he can't accept a bribe.

12. বাক্যে Always থাকলে,Always উঠে never বসে এবং পরবর্তী শব্দটি বিপরীত করতে হয়।

Neg: He is never unhappy.
